Job Summary: This role involves operating and maintaining production equipment to manufacture powder coatings safely and efficiently. The employee works in different areas like weighing materials, extrusion, and grinding. The goal is to meet production targets, maintain product quality, and follow all safety and environmental standards. The role also includes cleaning equipment, recording data, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor production equipment safely Weigh, mix, and prepare raw materials for production Run extrusion, grinding, and sieving processes Clean machines and prevent contamination between batches Collect samples and coordinate with Quality Control (QC) Record production data and maintain documentation Identify and report safety or quality issues Adjust machine settings to meet product specifications Support maintenance, housekeeping, and continuous improvement Work Areas: Weigh-Up: Measure and prepare raw materials, stage batches Extrusion: Run machines to process materials into product form Grinding (ICM): Grind, sieve, and test product for quality Requirements: High school diploma or GED Ability to operate machinery and follow instructions Basic math and measurement skills Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long hours Forklift operation (or willingness to learn) Strong focus on safety and teamwork TSNIT01 Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Work Location: In person
