Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance, appliance, plumbing and electrical maintenance and repair. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and facilities, troubleshooting issues, and performing necessary repairs to maintain a safe and efficient working environment. Responsibilities: Conduct maintenance repairs on various equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance. Respond to work order request and on call emergencies in a timely and efficient manner. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using tools such as an ohmmeter and schematics. Perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications. Oversee maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within specifications. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents. Help maintain grounds for optimal curb appeal Skills Strong maintenance, electrical, appliance, plumbing experience, including knowledge of wiring, circuits, and safety protocols. Solid maintenance knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various machinery. Familiarity with facilities maintenance best practices and standards. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with staff and residents. Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Background in a apartment community environment Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team.
