Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Outpatient Clinical Specialist (Occupational Therapist, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver vital therapeutic services directly at our clinic in Reading, helping young children and their families navigate developmental challenges. Your expertise will empower children to reach their full potential through personalized care plans, family support, and collaborative case management. Duties Provide occupational or physical therapy services in our clinical setting for infants and children with developmental delays or disabilities. Assist families with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence and functional skills. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to each child's unique needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, educators, and other therapists to ensure comprehensive care. Work with children who have autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental conditions to promote skill acquisition. Engage in case management activities to coordinate services and ensure timely delivery of therapy interventions. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to pediatric and adult populations. Experience working with individuals with disabilities across various settings such as inpatient units, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, home health, or school environments. Proficiency in assisting with ADLs and creating effective care plans for diverse populations including early intervention and post-acute care clients. Ability to work effectively with children with autism and other developmental delays in clinical settings. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare teams.
