Assistant Project Manager | Blue Kangaroo Packoutz of Suncoast Position Summary Blue Kangaroo Packoutz is a contents restoration company specializing in packout, cleaning, storage, and return services following fire, water, and other property losses. We work closely with homeowners, insurance carriers, adjusters, and restoration partners to provide organized and compassionate service during difficult situations. The Assistant Project Manager supports day-to-day project coordination, customer communication, scheduling, and administrative tasks to help projects move smoothly from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, customer-focused, and interested in growing within the restoration industry. Key Responsibilities Project & Administrative Support Assist with coordinating projects from start to completion Help schedule packouts, deliveries, cleaning, and return services Maintain project files, photos, and documentation Communicate updates with customers, adjusters, contractors, and internal teams Support inventory tracking and job progress updates Assist with billing paperwork, approvals, and data entry Customer Service & Communication Serve as a point of contact for homeowners and clients throughout the project Provide professional and empathetic customer service Help answer questions and relay updates regarding timelines and services Follow up with customers and referral partners as needed Business Support Assist with lead tracking and follow-up communication Support relationship-building efforts with restoration partners and adjusters Attend meetings or networking events occasionally with management support Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, coordination, administration, restoration, or a related field preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, and basic office technology Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Valid driver’s license preferred Key Competencies Professional and positive attitude Strong attention to detail Reliable and dependable Willingness to learn and grow Problem-solving and adaptability What We Offer Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Training and development opportunities Supportive team environment Opportunity for career growth within a growing company Job Type Full-time Work Location In person Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience: Content Restoration: 2 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
