In this role, you will be on the front lines of our Supportive Housing Program, helping diverse individuals and families navigate the path from housing insecurity to long-term independence. What You’ll Do Empower Through Advocacy: Build meaningful relationships with residents to understand their needs, set personalized goals, and connect them with community resources like LIHEAP, food assistance, and healthcare. Foster Resilience: Provide coaching on budget planning, resume writing, and other vital life skills that promote self-sufficiency. Collaborate for Success: Work alongside a passionate team and our Housing Director to review cases, solve problems creatively, and ensure our residents receive high-quality, dignified support. Manage & Support: Oversee critical program aspects, including resident files, maintenance requests, and our on-site food pantry, ensuring every interaction reflects our core values of respect and dignity. What We’re Looking For Experience & Education: A Bachelor’s degree in social services (or a comparable field) is preferred, alongside at least one year of direct experience in crisis intervention, housing, or substance abuse support. Don’t have a degree? No problem—equivalent experience is welcomed!
