Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, a strong understanding of mechanical systems, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Conduct inspections of facilities to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Interpret schematics and blueprints to assist in repairs and installations. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Assist in welding tasks when necessary to support facility repairs. Minor vehicle maintenance. Skills Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings. Strong command of the English language for effective communication. Ability to maintain various mechanical systems with a focus on electrical components. Knowledge of facilities maintenance best practices. Excellent customer service skills to foster positive interactions within the workplace. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
