Countryside is seeking a motivated, safety-focused Propane Service Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for propane tank installations, service work, leak investigations, inspections, maintenance, and customer support. Position Responsibilities and Expectations Install, remove, and service above-ground and underground propane tanks and related equipment Perform gas checks, leak testing, pressure testing, and system inspections Troubleshoot propane systems and identify necessary repairs Complete tank maintenance, painting, valve replacements, and preparation of inventory tanks for service Inspect customer installations to ensure compliance with company standards, NFPA codes, and safety regulations Respond to emergency service calls and customer concerns as needed Maintain accurate documentation, inspections, photographs, and job records Communicate proactively with dispatch, customer experience representatives, drivers, sales staff, and customers Assist with propane deliveries and other propane operations as needed Operate company vehicles and equipment safely and professionally Participate in rotating on-call coverage as scheduled Qualifications Strong commitment to safety and positive customer experiences Ability to work independently while remaining a strong team player Strong communication and problem-solving skills High school diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of propane, HVAC, plumbing, fuel oil, utility, or related field experience preferred CETP certifications preferred (training available for the right candidate) Track Pipe certification a plus Knowledge of underground and above-ground propane piping systems preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record CDL Class B with Hazmat endorsement preferred or ability to obtain Must be at least 21 years of age to meet DOT requirements Must pass a DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening Must successfully complete a post-offer physical assessment Able to work Monday-Friday with overtime as needed Benefits Competitive wages Overtime opportunities 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and paid holidays Company-provided uniforms Modern vehicles, tools, and equipment Paid training and career development opportunities Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time
