You will lead your team in effort to support continuous improvementWhat you can look forward to in this role:May assist with updating Incoming Quality Audit checksAbility to Follow Standard WorkFollow and utilize principles of 5SAccountable for Continuous Improvement Idea ReportingCatalogue quality issues into a computer system and flag defects for repair.Deliver quality support to the plant by creating and developing business plans for each manufacturing assembly area.Perform Incoming Inspections on Incoming Material Perform inspections utilizing measurement tools (Calipers, Micrometers, Measuring Tape, etc.) Create and manage NCM’s for nonconforming material Perform Line sorts for nonconforming material Systematically disposition nonconforming material in SAP ECC Accurately transact material movement in SAP ECC Basic Qualifications:Must have 1 year of quality experience in a similar roleMust have experience operating inspection equipment and gaugesMust have intermediate proficiency (Basic skills/knowledge. Capable of functioning independently) in SAP softwareMust have intermediate proficiency (Basic skills/knowledge. Capable of functioning independently) in Microsoft Word and ExcelRoot Cause Analysis ExperiencePhysical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):Willing and able to sit/stand for prolonged periodsWilling and able to perform repetitive operationsWilling and able to lift up to 35 lbs.Willing and able to pass eye exam for visual weld inspectionTop candidates will also have:Previous audit experienceFurther education beyond high schoolGreen Belt trainingASQ certificationsBlueprint reading experience Intermediate proficiency in PowerPoint Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAdvanced Problem Solving/Troubleshooting Ability Meticulous and analytical natureAbility to multitask and prioritize work Welding experience Machine equipment product knowledge-excavators and/or tractorsBIQ Quality Alert Project ExperienceAdditional information: Resumes are encouraged for all applicants.
