Highway Project EngineerLocations: Douglassville, Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, or Philadelphia, PASTV is growing! We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Highway Project Engineer to join our Transportation team in Pennsylvania. If you’re passionate about roadway design, enjoy mentoring others, and want to work on impactful infrastructure projects across the state, we’d love to connect with you.In this role, you’ll contribute to a diverse portfolio of roadway, highway, and transit projects—helping deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that meet project schedules, budgets, and client expectations. Strong experience with MicroStation InRoads is essential, and familiarity with Bentley OpenRoads Designer is a plus.What You’ll DoDevelop and refine 3D models, alignments, profiles, corridors, and cross-sections for transportation projectsMentor and guide junior engineers in highway geometry and modeling software best practicesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, surveyors, planners, and project managersPrepare detailed roadway, highway, and transit infrastructure plans and technical specificationsConduct design reviews, constructability analyses, and quality control checksAssist with project reports, client presentations, and communicationsStay up to date with industry trends and advancements in OpenRoads and related tools What You BringBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field (Master’s a plus)Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in PennsylvaniaMinimum 6 years of transportation engineering experience with a strong focus on roadway and geometric designStrong proficiency in MicroStation InRoads (OpenRoads Designer experience preferred)Experience with signing, pavement markings, and traffic control plansFamiliarity with PennDOT, AASHTO, and FHWA design standardsExperience with traffic signals and ITS (a plus)Stormwater management and Erosion & Sedimentation Control design/permitting experience (a plus)Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteProfessional society involvement (a plus)Why Join STV?At STV, you’ll work alongside talented professionals on meaningful infrastructure projects that improve communities across Pennsylvania.
