Chief Medical Resident
Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center, a distinguished 427-bed non-profit hospital and regional referral center, invites applications for a Internal Medicine Residency Faculty Member position. Responsibilities
Role Details:
• The role is primarily academic/administrative with a clinical practice component.
• Key responsibilities include mentoring and guiding residents, supervising residents in clinic, delivering both small group and lecture-based education, and serve as an advisor to residents.
Qualifications
Role Requirements:
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine (ABIM or AOBIM).
• Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in Georgia.
• At least two years of clinical experience preferred, with openness to considering emerging talents in the field.
• A strong dedication to comprehensive and compassionate patient care.
