Data Analyst
Business Analyst / KPI Analyst - MUST BE LOCAL TO READING, PA
We are seeking a highly analytical Business Analyst to support organizational performance through data analysis, KPI reporting, and operational insights. This role will be responsible for gathering data from multiple systems and sources, transforming information into meaningful reports, and providing actionable recommendations to leadership.
The ideal candidate is not only comfortable working with data but is also able to interpret trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and communicate findings in a way that drives business decisions. This position will play a key role in helping the organization strengthen its internal reporting capabilities and improve performance visibility across locations and programs.
Key Responsibilities
• Collect, organize, and analyze data from multiple systems and sources
• Develop, maintain, and enhance KPI dashboards and performance reports
• Create recurring and ad hoc reports for leadership and operational teams
• Interpret data trends and provide clear summaries, insights, and recommendations
• Track organizational, regional, and site-level performance metrics
• Analyze data down to individual program, location, and home-level performance
• Identify operational trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Partner with leadership to define, measure, and monitor key business objectives
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms
• Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, financial analysis, operations analysis, or a related field
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, and complex formulas
• Experience working with large datasets from multiple sources
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights
• Experience creating dashboards and KPI reporting tools
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other reporting tools preferred
Preferred Experience
• KPI development and performance measurement
• Operational reporting and business performance analysis
• Multi-site or multi-location reporting environments
• Healthcare, human services, behavioral health, residential services, or other service-based organizations
• Executive-level reporting and strategic decision support
