Adult PHP Therapist
Location: High Focus Centers – Pottstown, PA
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (In-Person)
Salary: $53,000 – $55,000 annually (based on experience and credentials)
High Focus Centers in Pottstown is a leading provider of outpatient treatment programs for adults experiencing mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. Our team is committed to delivering individualized, comprehensive treatment that supports each client’s recovery journey.
We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Therapist/Counselor to join our Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about supporting adults in a structured therapeutic environment while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate outpatient group therapy sessions and provide support services for families/support systems as appropriate
• Conduct approximately 6–8 Level of Care Assessments weekly based on program needs
• Maintain one aftercare outpatient therapy group to support clients transitioning to lower levels of care
• Collaborate with clients, families, and treatment team members to develop individualized treatment plans within established timelines
• Participate in clinical team meetings to review and discuss client progress
• Complete insurance reviews and maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
• Collect client co-pays as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field
• Previous counseling or therapy experience required; experience working with adult populations strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team
