Job Description:Perform Electrical design, technical analysis and/or resolution of engineering problems with consideration of manufacturing feasibility, cost, and operationEssential Functions:Design/alteration of complex electrical equipmentTest and debug complex equipment to isolate defectsPrepare layouts using CAD toolsEvaluation of complex designs; make engineering changesEvaluate new partsPrepares schematics, assemblies, detailed drawings and bills of material (BOM) for complex equipmentSupport manufacturing/assembly teamsManage and maintain project fileMay travel to customer site and support field teams with technical assistance as requiredMay assist with leading, mentoring or coaching less experienced team membersOther duties as assignedJob Specifications:Must be able to perform all level 2 duties competentlyAbility to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and mechanical assembly layoutsComprehensive knowledge of CAD and engineering systemsStrong logical and reasoning abilitiesProblem-solving abilityComprehensive knowledge of manufacturing methods; electrical design and project managementVerbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in customer’s facility and manage that relationshipRequired Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineeringTypically has 4 plus years of experience in electrical engineeringCompensation range:The approximate pay range for this position is $88,000–$110,000 annually.
