Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.What you will getAn agile career and dynamic working cultureAn inclusive and ethical workplaceCompetitive compensation that recognizes high performanceMedical, dental and vision insuranceWhat you will doLead and manage the EHS function at the Greenwood site, including staffing, budgeting, and performance managementEnsure full compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations through audits, risk assessments, and investigationsDevelop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and training programsMonitor and improve site EHS performance, driving initiatives to reduce incidents, emissions, and wasteOversee emergency response and business continuity planning for the siteServe as the site expert on regulatory requirements and liaise with external agencies on permitting and compliance strategiesDrive a strong safety culture through engagement, leadership, and continuous improvement initiativesTravel 10-15%What we are looking forBachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or a related disciplineMinimum 5 years of EHS experienceAt least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and audit processesProven leadership skills with experience managing teams and influencing site cultureAbility to analyze hazards, assess chemical and material risks, and implement effective controlsProfessional certifications in EHS or related discipline are preferredManagerial experience preferredAbout LonzaAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
