Assistant Regional Controller - Up to $120k
Our client, a established construction organization, is hiring an Assistant Regional Controller. This is a newly created position offering strong visibility, long-term stability, and excellent work/life balance within a family-owned company environment. The Assistant Regional Branch Controller will partner closely with branch leadership and support the day-to-day accounting and operational finance functions for a high-volume regional office. ***100% Onsite with flexibility
Responsibilities:
• Support payroll processing and certified payroll reporting
• Oversee accounts receivable, billing, collections, and retention reporting
• Assist with project accounting, job costing, and financial reporting
• Partner with project managers and operations on project setup, budgets, and cost tracking
• Review subcontractor payments, expense reports, and AP processes
• Assist with quarterly financial reviews, budgeting, and audit support
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and reporting requirements
Qualifications:
• 8+ years of accounting or finance experience
• Construction industry experience required
• Strong background in project accounting, billing, payroll, and financial reporting
• Understanding of GAAP and operational accounting processes
• ERP system experience preferred (Spectrum experience is a plus)
