Psychiatrist - J1 Waiver Eligible!
Seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist to join a behavioral health team at a 113-bed hospital in Valdosta, GA, serving adolescents, teens, and adults.
The role involves
• providing psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• managing psychotropic medications
• conducting patient rounds and follow-ups
• collaborating with an interdisciplinary team
• maintaining clinical documentation
• potentially serving as Medical Director with additional stipends.
Patients include adolescents, teens, and adults with conditions like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, behavioral issues, and substance use disorders.
Qualifications include MD/DO, BC/BE in Psychiatry, eligibility for Georgia medical license, and DEA certification. J-1 visa candidates are encouraged to apply with possible waiver support.
