Accountant – Financial Reporting
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our Financial Reporting team. This is an entry-level accounting position ideal for an early-career professional looking to build a solid foundation in core accounting practices. Reporting directly to the Manager of Financial Reporting, the Accountant will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity through accurate and timely execution of essential accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of the company’s quarterly and annual financial statements and monthly reporting packages
Support the quarterly review and year end audit processes
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and special projects
Adhere to internal controls and assist in their design and implementation
Prepare and monitor assigned performance metrics
Implement process improvements under supervisor guidance
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting (required)
Basic understanding of GAAP
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Effective written and verbal communication skills
