Job Description
The Manufacturing Associate performs production and inspections of products, ensuring they meet customer requirements. This role involves soldering, simple cable assembly, and connector operations to build high-quality products. The individual will convert raw materials into finished products, build products to standard rates, and perform in-process inspections while interfacing with computer software for documentation and data entry.
Responsibilities
• Perform soldering and simple cable assembly.
• Convert raw materials into finished products.
• Build products to standard rates.
• Read job orders for product specifications.
• Complete in-process inspections.
• Interface with computer software for document retrieval and data entry.
• Build simple point-to-point cables following drawings and instructions.
• Demonstrate proper use of basic hand tools such as soldering guns, wrenches, hand strippers, trimmers, wire cutters, chop saws, rulers, and microscopes/magnifiers.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting of cables to ensure proper functionality and frequency.
Essential Skills
• 4-5+ years of experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in thru-hole soldering.
• Ability to measure accurately using a ruler or tape measure.
• Willingness and ability to cross-train and be effective in various processes.
• Experience using microscopes, compactors, micrometers, and calipers is advantageous.

Work Environment
Work in a stable, expanding facility that recently had its best quarter in 60 years. The environment is clean, temperature-controlled, and well-organized, with a nice cafeteria area. The facility features multiple cell areas handling various aspects such as CNC Swiss Machining, Plating, Assembly, Semi Rigid, UTiFLEX, Inspection, and Warehouse Arcon Line. Information screens are posted around the facility for schedules and metrics, ensuring everyone is informed.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pottstown, PA.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
