Employment Type:Part timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Part Time with Benefits, Tuesday, Thursday + additional week day, 8a-4:30p. Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients receiving outpatient wound treatment in accordance with physician orders and evidence-based practicePerform comprehensive patient assessments, including wound assessments, measurements, staging, and evaluation of healing progressDevelop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for wound managementPerform and/or oversee wound care treatments, including complex dressing changes, compression therapy, and advanced wound care modalities per protocolAdminister medications and treatments as ordered, monitoring patient responses and outcomesEducate patients and caregivers on wound care management, prevention strategies, treatment plans, and follow-up careAccurately document assessments, interventions, treatments, and patient responses in the electronic medical recordMonitor patients for signs of infection, complications, or changes in condition and intervene appropriatelyCollaborate with physicians, LPNs, medical assistants, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity and quality of careProvide clinical guidance and supervision to LPNs and support staff as appropriateEnsure adherence to infection control standards, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirementsSupport efficient clinic operations, including patient flow, scheduling coordination, and supply managementParticipate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and staff education activitiesDeliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining professionalism and respect for diverse patient populationsLicensure/Certification/Registration: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
