Overview:
Berks Homes is a new home builder with more than 50 years of experience serving Eastern and Central Pennsylvania. Our marketing team is a small, high-impact group responsible for brand, digital presence, content, creative production, and campaign execution across all our communities.
This summer, we're looking for a motivated Marketing Intern to jump in, contribute, and learn alongside our team. This role is designed to offer meaningful, hands-on exposure across all areas of the marketing department — not just one function. The intern will contribute directly to active projects, support day-to-day marketing operations, and leave with a portfolio of real work produced for a regional homebuilder.
The intern will rotate support across the following areas, with the specific mix of tasks shaped by team priorities and the intern’s strengths:
Content & Copywriting
• Draft social media content for Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms
• Support email marketing campaigns, including copy drafts and basic template setup
• Assist with blog creation or content editing, including community spotlight features
• Help create flyers and other marketing assets for communities, events, and promotions
• Proofread and edit marketing materials for brand voice and terminology compliance
Digital & Analytics
• Assist with basic website content updates
• Help compile weekly and monthly performance reports (social, email, web traffic)
• Support Google My Business and listing management tasks
Creative & Production Support
• Assist the Multimedia Specialist and Creative Director with asset organization and basic production tasks
• Help prepare materials for community events, model home openings, and promotions
• Support photo and video project coordination as needed
Marketing Operations
• Assist with marketing calendar maintenance and project tracking
• Help organize shared files, brand assets, and templates
• Research industry trends, competitor activity, and content ideas on request
• Provide general task support to the Marketing Manager and broader team
