Associate Attorney

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to support our Pennsylvania practice with a primary focus on foreclosure and/or collections matters in and around Berks County, PA.
This position is ideal for an attorney who enjoys litigation and courtroom advocacy while also contributing to operational and legal support in a remote environment. The selected candidate will handle in-person hearings throughout the Berks County region and provide remote legal and operational support to the Pennsylvania office when not attending court.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Attend and handle in-person hearings, motions, and related court appearances in Berks County and surrounding jurisdictions.
• Manage foreclosure and/or collections matters from referral through resolution.
• Prepare, review, and approve pleadings, motions, affidavits, and other legal documents.
• Support contested matters and assist with litigation strategy as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding case status, legal developments, and case strategy.
• Collaborate with firm attorneys, paralegals, and operational teams to ensure timely and accurate case progression.
• Provide remote legal and operational support to the Pennsylvania office when not in court.
• Participate in mediations, depositions, and settlement discussions when applicable.
• Maintain compliance with firm policies, client guidelines, and court requirements.
• Handle special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar required.
• Foreclosure, creditor’s rights, collections, or related litigation experience preferred.
• Prior courtroom and hearing experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Pennsylvania courts, particularly Berks County and surrounding jurisdictions, is highly desirable.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload and prioritize competing deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to client service and professionalism.
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Work Environment:
This position requires in-person hearings in and around Berks County while supporting operational and legal needs for the PA office remotely.
