Medical Assistant
Insight Global is seeking a Medical Assistant in Reading, PA and someone who would be willing to go to Wayne, PA 1 day per week.
Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-oriented approach.
-Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities:
-Prepare patients for examination, including recording vital signs and medical histories.
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Manage patient appointments, scheduling, and follow-up communication.
- Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the healthcare provider.
- Provide patient education and instructions on treatment plans, medication, and preventive care.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and well-stocked examination room and clinical area.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and policies.
