An organization in the Baltimore area is seeking an Accountant to support daily accounting operations and collaborate with a high-performing Accounting and Tax team. This hybrid role offers exposure to financial reporting, general ledger reconciliations, treasury activities, audits, and international accounting operations.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare daily journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
• Review and analyze financial statements
• Assist with audits and treasury activities
• Support accounting operations for international entities
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments including HR, IT, and Operations
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• 1+ year public accounting experience
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
