About the role
Join an engineering team developing advanced defense electronic systems, including display and sensor technologies. This role focuses on embedded firmware/software development, system testing, and integration for mission-critical hardware platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware/software for electronic systems including displays, imaging devices, sensors, processors, and interface modules
• Support development, integration, verification, and validation activities for advanced display technologies including Heads Down and Heads Up Display systems
• Develop, debug, and enhance embedded source code for both new product development and legacy system support
• Execute unit testing, integration testing, qualification testing, and system-level validation activities
• Prepare test plans, technical documentation, and test reports while performing hands-on laboratory testing using prototypes and breadboards
• • Assist with hardware/software integration, troubleshooting, debugging, and resolution of embedded system issues across multiple platforms
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in embedded software and firmware development
• Strong hands-on experience working with STM32 or similar microcontroller platforms
• Solid background in FPGA development and embedded hardware environments
• Experience with hardware/software integration, embedded system debugging, and validation testing
• Prior experience within defense, aerospace, or other regulated engineering industries is highly preferred
Compensation:
• Estimated hourly range: $55–$60/hr (W-2).
• Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
