Job Description
Maintains proper operation, maintenance and repair of residential and commercial water treatment equipment. Installs, diagnoses, and services water treatment systems in residential and commercial environments, including whole-house treatment platforms and high-capacity reverse osmosis (RO) systems by Axeon. Performs mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting on water softeners, multi-stage carbon filtration systems, chemical metering and injection equipment, and ultraviolet (UV) disinfection systems. Conducts comprehensive field water quality analysis, interprets results to determine treatment efficacy, and calibrates system components to meet performance and regulatory standards. Disassembles equipment to inspect, repair, or replace valves, control heads, membranes, pumps, and electrical components, using precision testing instruments and specialized hand tools. Calculates and adjusts precise chemical dosing rates to ensure treated water meets potable water quality standards and applicable health and safety regulations. Programs and adjusts electronic control valves, verifies system pressures and flow rates, and performs preventative maintenance and corrective repairs. Interprets technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation; responds to complex and emergency service conditions. Documents work electronically, operates service vehicles, and provides technical consultation to residential and commercial customers.
