Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Animal Care Technician in Robesonia, Pennsylvania (PA). Training provided and entry level applicants are welcome.
Responsibilities for the Animal Care Technician include:
· Perform daily Animal husbandry duties such as health check, cage changing, and waste disposal
· Oversee laboratory sanitation and environmental conditions such as humidity and temperature
· Assist in basic veterinary care for animals housed within the vivarium
· Oversee vivarium supplies and resources
· Provide support to rodent breeding colonies
· Maintain logs and research documentation in accordance with company standards
Qualifications for the Animal Care Technician include:
· 1 year of animal husbandry
· HS Diploma
Compensation for the Animal Care Technician include:
· Compensation is $18.00/HR
