Overview
The Customer Service Representative provides high‑quality support to customers, Sales Representatives, and internal departments by accurately processing orders, resolving inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. The representative will handle order entry, account updates, product information requests, shipping concerns, and various administrative tasks to support the Reserve Power & Deka Services department.
Responsibilities
Order Processing & Documentation • Prepare and accurately enter customer purchase orders.
• Complete order changes, corrections, and revisions, including required supporting documents such as engineering requests or deviations.
• Prepare and enter customer credits and charges.
• Handle cabinet and rack orders as required.
• Manage consignment accounts where applicable.
Customer Support & Communication • Respond to customer and Sales Representative inquiries regarding:
• Technical questions
• Product quotes
• Freight quotes
• Product information
• Lead times
• Order changes
• Shipping concerns
• Maintain a consistent, positive, and professional customer service image.
• Communicate effectively via phone, email, and other channels.
Issue Resolution & Coordination • Address production and shipping concerns by phone, email, or other methods, offering solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Resolve accounting‑related issues associated with customer accounts.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Administrative & Support Duties • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and standard office equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
Education Requirements
• High School diploma required.
Experience & Qualifications • Previous customer service experience required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and standard office equipment.
• Battery product knowledge preferred but not required.
