A growing hospital network is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality, risk, and patient safety initiatives at a 42-bed Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) in Athens, GA.
This is not a back-office role—you’ll work closely with the Hospital CEO, partner with clinical leadership, and drive measurable improvements in outcomes for medically complex patients with extended stays (~25 days).

What You’ll Own
• Lead Quality & Performance Improvement initiatives across the hospital
• Drive regulatory compliance & accreditation readiness (CIHQ-aligned)
• Oversee risk management, infection prevention, and patient safety programs
• Spearhead survey readiness and continuous improvement efforts
• Analyze quality metrics and outcomes to guide decision-making
• Utilize quality tools (e.g., root cause analysis ) to improve processes
• Partner closely with clinical and operational leadership to elevate care
What You Bring
• 3+ years of experience in Quality, Risk, or Infection Control in healthcare
• Experience with regulatory/accreditation processes (The Joint Commission or CIHQ)
• Active clinical license (RN, RT, or similar)
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems
• Strong analytical and leadership skills
Preferred:
• Acute care or hospital-based experience
• CIHQ certification (or willingness to obtain)
Compensation
• $96,000 – $105,000 base salary (with flexibility)
