Role Description
The Project Manager (PE) will manage civil engineering and land development projects through all phases, from design and permitting to final construction. Responsibilities include coordinating project plans, ensuring compliance with regulations, overseeing scheduling and resource allocation, and conducting inspections to meet quality standards. The role also involves direct collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are achieved efficiently. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lynchburg, VA.
Qualifications
• Experience in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, resource management, and overseeing project execution
• Proficiency in Expediting and understanding of the associated processes
• Knowledge of Inspection techniques and regulatory compliance requirements
• Skills in Logistics Management and coordination across multiple teams or contractors
• Strong proficiency in communication, collaboration, and problem-solving
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant civil engineering or land development experience
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal permitting processes in land development
