Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site position for an Assistant Women's Wrestling Coach located in Reading, PA. The coach will assist in overseeing the women’s wrestling program, including training, coaching during practices and competitions, creating development plans, and recruiting prospective student-athletes. Additional responsibilities include adhering to NCAA regulations, supporting student-athlete academic success, and assisting with program planning and operations.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated expertise in Wrestling and Wrestling Coaching
• Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with student-athletes, staff, and stakeholders
• Experience in Coaching and Training to develop student-athletes in athletic and personal growth
• Knowledge of NCAA guidelines and regulations is an asset
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive team environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Prior collegiate or high school coaching experience
