Mechanic & New Equipment Assembler
Buckingham Structural Moving Equipment is seeking a skilled Mechanic & New Equipment Assembler to join our team. This hybrid role involves assembling new hydraulic-electric structural moving machinery. You will play a critical role in ensuring our equipment is reliable, safe, and built to the highest standards.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a hands-on environment alongside experienced professionals in the structural moving industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble new structural moving equipment according to specifications and quality standards
• Test and adjust assembled machinery to ensure optimal operation
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on our specialized hydraulic equipment
• Maintain shop cleanliness and organize tools and equipment
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality benchmarks
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
• 3+ years of mechanical experience
• Experience with equipment assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing preferred
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and assembly instructions
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
