Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Corning, NY, for a Certified Financial Planner. The Certified Financial Planner will collaborate with clients to create and execute comprehensive financial plans that align with their financial goals, timelines, and risk tolerance. Responsibilities include analyzing clients' financial information, providing investment strategies, managing portfolios, assisting with tax planning, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role also involves actively communicating with clients and fostering long-term professional relationships built on trust and integrity.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in financial planning, wealth management, and portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, investment strategies, and risk assessment.
• Experience with tax planning, compliance regulations, and legal considerations in financial planning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong client relationships.
• Possession of current Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification.
• Proficiency in using financial planning software and analytics tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with attention to detail and integrity.
• Prior experience in wealth management is an asset but not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a client-first mindset.
