As a Patient Services Coordinator at CORA Physical Therapy, you’ll be a vital part of our clinic support team by providing meaningful patient interactions ?and exceptional customer service. What You'll Do
As a Patient Services Coordinator at CORA, you’ll:
* Greet patients warmly and build rapport through in-person and phone interactions.
* Screen and answer incoming calls promptly; take messages, and relay information as needed.
* Verify outpatient therapy insurance benefits (where applicable) and advise patients of financial responsibilities such as co-pays, deductibles, or co-insurance.
* Manage incoming physician referrals and prescriptions; communicate first visit expectations to new patients.
* Scan insurance cards, ID cards, and relevant paperwork into patient files.
* Collect co-pays and deductibles, provide receipts, balance daily collections, and submit charges to the Clinic Manager.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment; sanitize spaces according to CDC guidelines.

What You'll Need * High school diploma or GED * Recent customer service experience required * Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel * Strong communication, organization, and time management skills * Reliable, honest, and adaptable in fast-paced team environments * Preferred: Experience in a healthcare office, familiarity with basic medical terminology, and fluency in Spanish.
