Our client, a manufacturing organization specializing in precision metal fabrication, is seeking a Waterjet operator for 2nd shift to join their team. As a Waterjet operator for 2nd shift, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Waterjet operator for 2nd shift
Location: East Greenville, PA
Pay Range: $25-$29 per hour depending on experience and a $2 shift differential.
Shift: 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM, Monday-Thursday
What's the Job?
• Set up and operate waterjet cutting machines to produce parts according to job orders and blueprints.
• Program machine controls using CAD/CAM or proprietary software to ensure precise cutting paths.
• Monitor cutting parameters such as water pressure, abrasive flow, and cutting speed to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or laser scanners to verify tolerances.
• Perform routine maintenance, including changing abrasive media, cleaning nozzles, pump rebuilds, and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
What's Needed?
• Waterjet operating experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Basic understanding of machine controls and programming software.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Willingness to perform additional shop tasks such as running press machines as needed.
