• - Perform therapeutic procedures and exercises.
• - Instruct and encourage patients.

• - Contribute to PT effectiveness.
• - Perform duties per professional ethics code.
• - Communicate treatment plans effectively.
Certifications/Requirements
• - Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) licensure required.
• - Associate degree from APTA-accredited PTA program.
• - CPR/BLS certification.
• - Pass Physical Therapist Assistant Examination (PTAE).
Experience
• - Associate degree from accredited PTA program.
• - 2+ years direct patient care preferred.
• - 1-2 years healthcare experience beneficial.
• - State licensure required.
