Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Pottstown, PA, for a Technology Support Specialist. The primary responsibilities include providing technical support to users, resolving hardware and software issues, and performing troubleshooting across desktop computers and IT infrastructure. The specialist will ensure effective communication to deliver exceptional service and provide technical guidance as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Provide on-site client care for between 20 and 30 hours per week.
• Respond to customer inquiries and help desk tickets in a timely manner via phone and email.
• Provide both remote and on-site technical support for customers as needed based on STCNtech's Service Level Agreements.
• Troubleshoot customer issues and provide solutions.
• Maintain customer records and document customer interactions.
• Keep up to date with product information and changes.
• Provide technical training to clients as needed
• Visit Pottstown office at least once per week.
Skills/Technologies to be familiar with:
• Great customer service and communications skills.
• Microsoft Office 365 and Google Suite applications, both desktop and web variants as applicable.
• Online meeting platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet.
• Microsoft Windows 10/11, MacOS, ChromeOS
• Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, Windows permissions, Active Directory, 802.11xx wireless)
• Windows server/Active Directory
• Experience and understand of ticketing systems and remote support options.
• Experience with Azure/Entra/Remote Desktop Workspaces a plus.

• 2 years
Schedule:
• Monday through Friday, other hours as necessary
Ability to commute/relocate:
• Pottstown, PA: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required)
• Ability to commute to client locations throughout the region as needed. (Required)
• Regional travel may be necessary within 90 minutes of Pottstown, PA
Education:
• High School Diploma – Required
• Some College/Degree - Preferred
• Certifications – CompTIA A+ or IT Fundamentals – Strongly Preferred, Microsoft – Desired, Google – Desired, Apple - Desired

• First Level Support: 2 years (Required)
• Windows: 2 years (Required)
• technical troubleshooting: 2 years (Required)
• M365: 2 years (Required)
• Google Suite: 2 years (Preferred)
• Windows Server/Active Directory: 2 years (Preferred)
