Job Description • Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals for commercial construction projects
• Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Develop conceptual budgets and assist with preconstruction planning
• Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving strategies
• Collaborate with Project Managers and field teams to ensure accurate project handoff
• Maintain organized bid documentation and historical cost data
• Participate in bid reviews, scope clarifications, and client discussions

The Successful Applicant • 3-7+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating
• Proven ability to perform quantity takeoffs and develop accurate cost estimates
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and sequencing
• Experience with ground‑up and/or renovation projects preferred
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency with estimating software and Excel
