Description:
The registered nurse will work in a medical surgical overflow setting.
Patient population ranges from adolescents to geriatrics.
The unit is equipped to handle total hip, knee, and shoulder arthroplasties, as well as trauma patients.
The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:5-6 on a 27 bed unit with an average daily census of 24.
Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation.
Compliance in onboarding and completion of core items/labs is required to start on time.
Holidays are expected to be worked as specified in the holiday policy.
Floating within the healthcare facility is required.
Weekends are typically required every other weekend unless specified otherwise.
The nurse must maintain full compliance to ensure timely contract start.
