Key Responsibilities
• - Conduct physical and psychological assessments.
• - Assess home and work environments.
• - Advise on adaptive equipment.
• - Develop physical rehabilitation programs.
• - Prepare clients for return to work.
• - Educate caregivers and family members.
• - Evaluate therapy effectiveness.
• - Maintain professional knowledge.
• - Comply with regulations.
Certifications/Requirements
• - Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) credential from NBCOT required.
• - Masters or Doctoral degree in OT from ACOTE-accredited program.
• - State licensure required (OTR/L).
• - CPR/BLS certification.
Experience
• - Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) or Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) from ACOTE-accredited program .
• - Level II Fieldwork (6 months minimum ).
• - Pass NBCOT exam.
