Senior Scientist, Immunology & Antibody Development
My biotech client actively seeks a Senior Scientist to join their antibody development group. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in antibody discovery and take a leadership role in experimental planning, target characterization, and sequence/structure analysis.
The Ideal Candidate Will Take On The Following Responsibilities
• Lead antibody development efforts using hybridoma technology and vaccine-based platforms.
• Drive experimental planning and execution to characterize targets through sequence and structural analysis.
• Design immunogens and develop immunization strategies in support of antibody development programs.
• Apply protein biochemistry expertise to candidate evaluation and characterization.
• Contribute to a collaborative, cross-functional team environment alongside senior scientific leadership.
This Person Will Possess The Following Qualities
• Ph.D. in Immunology or a related discipline, plus 2+ years of relevant industry or academic laboratory experience.
• Hands-on laboratory experience required — must be willing to work at the bench.
• Demonstrated expertise in hybridoma technology, vaccine development, or related antibody development platforms.
• Strong experimental planning and project leadership capabilities.
• Candidates from both industry and academia will be considered.
• Experience with protein biochemistry, molecular modeling, or vaccine design is preferred.
