Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Experienced Veterinary Assistant/Technician at our Athens, GA location. Responsibilities include providing exceptional pet and animal care, assisting veterinarians during procedures, educating clients on pet care and wellness, and supporting overall clinic operations. Candidates will be expected to ensure a positive client experience while maintaining a safe and clean environment for both pets and their owners.
Qualifications
• Proven skills in Animal Care and Pet Care, including handling, restraint, and monitoring animal health
• Experience in Veterinary Medicine with knowledge of procedures, medications, and equipment
• Strong abilities in Client Education to effectively communicate pet health and wellness information
• Exceptional Customer Service skills to provide a compassionate and professional experience
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced setting
• Certification as a Veterinary Technician or relevant experience is preferred
• Dedication to continual learning and professional development in the veterinary field
