• The focus of this position is the Epilepsy Program, primarily outpatient***
JOB SUMMARY:
Perform under the responsibility and supervision of the physician, working in collaboration as a medical advocate in the medical care system, serving as a liaison between the patient and physician. Implement diagnostic testing, physical examination, coordination of care, and therapeutic tasks in the sphere of decision-making required to establish a diagnosis and to develop a treatment plan. Assist the physician in acute, subacute, and chronic care of neurology inpatient and outpatient services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of Pennsylvania required.
National Certification in Pennsylvania or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in Pennsylvania required.
Relevant Experience Preferred.
