Financial Analyst
Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Financial Analyst in Athens, GA
Employment Type: Contract
Location: Onsite - Athens, GA 30601
Pay rate: $34-$35.50/hr
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver weekly orders and sales reports to track business performance and targets
• Analyze, report, and forecast overhead expenses in partnership with department leaders
• Support monthly close activities and assist in forecasting cycles and business reviews
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and investigate data to support strategic decisions
• Develop financial reports, dashboards, and spreadsheets for leadership insights
• Assist with annual planning and ongoing forecasting processes
• Communicate key financial metrics and reports to stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 1+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience
• Strong analytical and financial accounting skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills with a proactive, self-driven mindset
Preferred Qualification:
• Experience with JDE, HFM, or Power BI
• Background in financial reporting, forecasting, or business analysis
