J OB SUMMARY:
Responsible to the Director of Clinical Quality and indirectly to the Hospital Epidemiologist for supervision and coordination of infection control programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor's Degree in Science of Nursing or its equivalency and Registered Professional Nurse currently licensed by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners, or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Microbiology or related field.
Infection Control Certification preferred
One to two years of effective experience in the area of infectious disease or related area
