Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assist with inventory control and preparing old equipment for surplus. This shall entail proper disinfection of old equipment, and recording of requested information to process items for surplus.
• Work within the Veterinary Teaching Hospital to help ensure broken equipment makes its way to the Equipment Office for processing.
• Process and log equipment to send for repair. Package equipment for shipping or pick up.

• Assist Equipment Manager with organizing and labeling equipment overstock in the Equipment Office.

• Assist vendors that are on-site for preventative maintenance and repairs to travel throughout the VTH into secured areas.

Position Summary:
Position will complete various tasks and projects throughout the Veterinary Teaching Hospital as assigned by the Medical Equipment Manager to include assisting with inventory management, repairs, and preventative maintenance of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital medical equipment.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification In Position:
Experience in working with technology, repairs, and set-up of equipment preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or Competencies :
• Exceptional computer skills.
• Data entry.
Physical Demands:
• Lifting up to 50 pounds assisted.
• Travel to interoffice departments to communicate or deliver materials.
• Pushing and pulling.
• Climb and work from ladder.
• Working overhead.- Stand for long periods of time.
