Childcare Assistant Teacher

Wee Care Child Development Center in Sanatoga, is a licensed childcare center seeking an Assistant Teacher for our Infant and School Age classrooms !
To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED and the ability to pass all background checks. Must have at least two years of experience working with children.
Required Shift: Monday - Friday, Full-time 7:45am-4:45pm or Part-time 2-6pm
Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour, based on education and experience

MainJob Responsibilities:
• Support lead teacher in all aspects of the classroom.
• Implement activitiesthatencourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative,and physical development.
• Take initiative, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
• Createandmaintainan environment that is clean and safe for all children.
• Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family toprovidequality care for the children.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running,and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
