About the Role
Our client, a global leader in health and medical solutions, is seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager to join their growing team. This role is critical in building and expanding relationships within Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), partnering with strategic sourcing leaders and C-suite clinical stakeholders.
The primary objective is to identify opportunities to improve patient outcomes while driving contract negotiations and expanding product portfolio adoption across key accounts.
What You’ll Do
• Develop and execute strategies for business retention and profitable growth within assigned health systems and accounts
• Provide strategic direction to field sales teams to drive compliance, clinical value, and revenue growth
• Present insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders with strong communication and storytelling skills
• Share customer insights, forecasts, and innovative approaches to value-based contracting
• Identify growth opportunities through data analysis, industry trends, and pipeline management
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment across commercial and clinical teams
• Create and implement strategic and operational plans using strong project management skills
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 7+ years of medical device sales experience (leadership experience preferred)
• 3+ years of experience developing and executing sales strategy within IDNs or GPOs
• Strong project management, business, and financial acumen
• Deep understanding of healthcare economics, clinical outcomes, and supply chain dynamics
• Proven experience negotiating contracts and driving strategic growth initiatives
