Job Summary
Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Employee Benefits Producer to join a team. This role is primarily remote, and focuses on generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering strategic employee benefits solutions. The ideal candidate will have a consultative approach to sales and a passion for helping organizations design and manage competitive benefits programs that align with their workforce and business goals.

Responsibilities
• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for employee benefits services, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary benefits, and wellness programs.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline through networking, referrals, and strategic prospecting.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on benefits strategy, cost management, compliance, and employee engagement.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including account managers, analysts, and HR consultants, to design and implement customized solutions.
• Conduct client presentations, develop proposals, and lead benefits education meetings.
• Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes (e.g., ACA, ERISA), and market conditions to provide clients with up-to-date insights.
• Participate in community and professional organizations to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
• Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline reporting in CRM systems.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in employee benefits, insurance sales, or HR consulting.
• Active state insurance license (Life & Health) or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of group benefits and funding arrangements, including fully insured, level-funded, and self-funded plans.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
