Job Overview
The Revit Drafter is responsible for assisting the design team with design-build projects and design-only projects by developing Revit drawings and details. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience working with Revit.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct site measures/scans and create accurate as-built drawings in Revit.
• Help the Design and Sales teams put together client presentations.
• Develop schematic design, design development, and construction documents in Revit. The results of this are to have a clear, concise, and complete set of construction documents to obtain a building permit and to construct the project based on these documents.
• Work with outside engineers and consultants to get engineering and pertinent information incorporated into our construction drawing sets.
• Accept & complete redline notes from Design PMs for multiple projects on time.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Assist the BIM Manager with development and maintenance of Revit library and details.
• Help streamline and improve our processes.
• Other duties as assigned or needed.
Skills
• Proficiency in Revit, CAD, and AutoCAD software
• Ability to create detailed schematics and blueprints
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
