Utilities Employees Credit UnionInternal AuditorLocation: Wyomissing, PAHybrid Work Schedule - Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday to FridayWe are seeking an Internal Auditor to assess internal controls, operational efficiency and compliance with laws and financial reporting standards. This position will report to the Internal Audit Manager and will also work with Risk Management and Compliance to help ensure a strong and ethical control environment within the credit union. Key responsibilities include:Executing internal audits across operational and financial areasTesting compliance with relevant laws and regulations, with support from othersInterviewing staff and documenting processesReviewing and analyzing processes and internal controlsCreating organized audit work papers and documentationUtilizing technology for audit evidence collectionCommunicating findings to the Internal Audit Manager, Management, and the Supervisory CommitteeSupporting special projects and external audit requests as neededPerforming quality assurance reviews on audits completed by othersMaintaining confidentiality and professional objectivityMaintaining an understanding of, and complying with, the IIA Global Internal Audit StandardsQualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferredOne to five years of experience in accounting or auditing CPA or CIA Certifications preferredStrong analytical, communication, and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelOffers of employment are contingent upon passing pre-employment screenings which consist of drug test, background check, and credit check.
